With one in 14 workers in Canada employed by the construction industry, BuildForce Canada is aiming to make it easier to break into one of the country's busiest sectors through Careers in Construction, a revamped job information hub.
The Regina Construction Association (RCA) is expanding its education opportunities to allow organizations to take advantage of the Canada-Saskatchewan Job Grant.
This grant reimburses up to one-sixth of training costs for companies with less than 50 employees and one-third for those with 50 employees or more. There is a $250,000 limit per company and a $10,000 limit per employee.

Thursday night’s live auction at the 2014 SHCA Fall Convention
One very special event held every year during SHCA’s Fall Convention is the live charity auction. This event is graciously supported by a generous contribution from Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers, who provide their services and sponsorship to support the association’s charity of choice. We’d be remiss if we didn’t thank all of the SHCA members who donated auction items and placed bids during the event.
